QUALITY TECHNICIAN

Would you like to work in an international, innovative organization, where we produce high-quality solutions and are constantly looking to enhance existing and develop new offerings as a Quality Technician?  Then we have an interesting position in Grundfos for you!   What is the job about?  As a Quality Technician, you will ensure continuous compliance with specifications, process, and customer requirements, continuously monitor the quality level of the process and implement the necessary activities to ensure continuous improvement, also monitor and improve the quality level of the product shipped to the customer and ensure the implementation of effective actions to resolve and eliminate customer complaints.
This position reports directly to the Quality Supervisor and will operate daily of the San Luis Potosí, MX facility.
Qualified candidates must have authorization to work in Mexico without support.
Your main responsibilities.
Establish the necessary in-process controls to ensure ongoing compliance of customer and process specifications and requirements.
Definition of measurement and test equipment for new projects.
Permanent monitoring and reporting of quality indicators for each of the processes.
Implementation and use of quality tools to ensure continuous improvement of processes and product (QRQC - FTA).
Analysis, solution, and documentation of quality problems in a timely manner avoiding their recurrence.
Perform layer (LPA) and process audits.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams focused on improving quality indicators.
Promote the generation of a quality culture at all levels with a customer focus.
Effective management of customer complaints.
Establish, maintain, and standardize visual acceptance criteria and rejection in production areas and with customers.
Compliance with certification requirements, e.
.
UL, CSA, IAPMO, etc.
(if applicable).
Follow-up, implementation, and maintenance of IMS processes.
Active participation in VPC.
Establish corrective and preventive actions when required.
Ensure proper handling of non-conforming product.
Conduct continuous quality training of operators to maintain and increase the necessary competencies at their workstations.
Establish preventive actions focused on quality.
Follow up on SCC /2P / 2F, through the CEP.
Your background We imagine that you have.
Technical Career / Truncated career in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Mechanical-Administrator, Mechanical-Electrician.
At least 2 years in a similar position in the metal-mechanical industry.
Statistical tools.
control plans, AMEF, DOE, CEP, Process Mapping, 7 Quality tools, 8D's, A3, etc.
ISO or ISO/TS.
Internal Auditor.
Microsoft Office Blueprint interpretation.
Continuous improvement and problem analysis and solution methodologies.
Handling of basic measuring equipment.
Calipers, micrometers, thickness gauges, etc.
SAP Use of Minitab / Q-Stat English (intermediate) is a welcome addition.
