Key duties include site inspections, testing materials, identifying defects, and inspecting finishing work like flooring and plumbing.
The role also involves training workers on quality standards and conducting pre-delivery inspections.
A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering and 2-5 years of experience in quality control or real estate are required.
s a Quality Engineer, you should be able to prepare and implement the quality control guidelines.
Besides, you should also be able to identify any problems in the production process and suggest improvements.
You should be able to prepare detailed and accurate reports on the production findings.
ResponsibilitiesChecking the existing quality standards and developing new ones Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards for materials and workmanship.
Monitor construction activities throughout the project.
Test materials, including steel and concrete.
Identify and address defects.
Inspect finishing work such as flooring, plumbing, electrical, doors, windows, and painting.
Conduct training sessions for contractors and workers to improve quality control knowledge.
Recommend improvements to quality processes.
Perform pre-delivery inspections of apartments before handover to customers.
