om The Purchasing/Planning Supervisor is responsible for the efficient planning and allocation of raw materials in UMD-MX, ensuring that orders are issued to suppliers and that supplier performance is monitored; this position is also responsible for the production scheduling according to the capacities.
Additionally, they collect, manage, and communicate information needed by the logistics group in Denmark.
This role also involves handling forecasts as an asset for long-term planning and ensuring that order material planning is successful and capacity is used efficiently.
Responsibilities.
Efficient planning and allocation of raw materials in UMD-MX Ensure that orders are issued to suppliers, and supplier performance is monitored in UMD-MX To collect, handle and communicate information’s as to Logistics group in DK need To handle forecast as an asset in planning in the long run Order material planning is successful and that the capacity is used in efficient manner Planning raw material requirements based on order requirements for production.
Raw materials allocation for production to fulfill production orders.
Location and quantity of raw materials are accurately reflected in the MRP and Inventory system.
Establish and maintain satisfactory inventory levels.
Follow FIFO procedure.
Coordinate PO's and deliveries of components from Infusion Device in DK and other suppliers in coordination with the Logistic Department in DK in quality and quantity for production needs according with established plans and forecast from the Sale Department.
Communicate the changes of the FORECAST to the suppliers.
Receive, handle and confirm order confirmations from Logistics in DK Efficient production scheduling for both plants, ensuring it is released on time every week for the production areas Weekly review of the manufacturing resources to confirm the available capacity Creation, maintenance and issued of the production order in SAP Supervision of Purchasing personnel Complying with the company quality policy Meet with the safety, health and environment policy.
Incorporate EHS compliance and risk considerations into procurement decisions for key suppliers, third party manufacturers and contractors on a risk basis.
Ensure new chemicals receive an EHS review prior to being purchased.
Maintain general awareness of the CVT’s EHS policy and supporting standards.
Understand EHS risks and applicable legal requirements associated with their job responsibilities and the appropriate controls in place to manage those risks and requirements.
Carry out job responsibilities with due professional care and in compliance with legal requirements and internal standards without compromising their own safety or that of others.
Be alert to EHS hazards in the workplace, responding to them as appropriate and communicating them to responsible management as they are identified (e.
., spills).
Participate in training, awareness and community initiatives as appropriate.
Help drive continuous EHS performance improvement by suggesting potential improvements to responsible management Requirements.
Professional studies in Industrial engineering, Business administration, or related.
3 years on the Planning/Purchasing and Materials Management in a similar level.
Conversational English required.
Advance knowledge in MRP.
Experience in SAP.
Personnel management experience.
