About our client Our client is a global private equity fund with extensive operations across the Mexican real estate industrial market.
They have an exciting new opening for a Property Accountant, who will play a key role in supporting the team managing and overseeing the finances and accounting of the industrial portfolio.
This is the ideal opportunity to join a seasoned team of professionals that have built a solid and growing presence in Mexico.
The position is based in Mexico City.
What the job involves Perform complete charge accounting and reporting for designated industrial/warehouse assets Address tenant CAM/RET conflicts in collaboration with the Property Management and A/R teams Conduct straight-line rent reconciliation, analysis, and revisions Complete construction financial analysis and revisions Conduct monthly bank reconciliations, manage tenant utility invoicing, and handle additional tenant billings as required Perform amortization and analysis of leasing expenses (legal fees, leasing commissions, marketing) Conduct reconciliation, analysis, and updates for leases above or below market value Assist with the annual financial audit Review, modify and complete monthly management fees and GL closures along with accompanying schedules Elaborate yearly tenant CAM/RET reconciliations Examine NOI differences (actual compared to budget) Gather and elaborate yearly operating expenditure budgets Perform general administrative tasks and manage office functions Execute additional tasks as required by senior management Who we are looking for Experience in an accounting role for a construction or property management/real estate company and cost accounting Experience with CAM reconciliations and month-end reporting.
Knowledge of MRI, Real Asset Management and Nexus a plus Bachelor's degree in accounting.
Additional degrees are a plus (accounting certifications) Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications with Advanced Excel skills Detailed oriented with an ability to multitask and meet specific deadlines Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English You will be redirected to the company’s website – you must complete the application on their platform to apply.
