PROJECT MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY

The Technical Project Manager is the natural leader for equipment, process and product transferences and new product introduction, interacts with key Customers and serve as their primary interface with the different stakeholders. The Project Manager works in the introduction of new technologies, transactional systems implementation and lead, coordinate, monitor, and leverage other groups such as Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Sales, and Materials to meet their internal and external customers needs and requirements.

DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage project staff and provide technical direction, focusing on manufacturing, quality, and safety.

Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, schedules, resources, and budgets.

Communicate project objectives, detailed plans and expectations to team members, stakeholders and contractors. Establish KPIs to monitor and track project progress and its report.

Coordinate with departments and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of NPIs and smooth transfer of products or processes to Juarez, either from a VEXOS twin plant or from a customer.

Systematically following PMI handbook.

Deliverables project information, documentation and training materials to internal manufacturing stakeholders and peers, entering into the QMS or appropriate system.

Facilitate regular project meetings to review status, resolve issues, and update stakeholders.

Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and contingency plans.

Develop and manage project budgets, have coordinated RFQs and developing of equipment specifications, and coordinate equipment and process qualifications.

Document lessons learned and create project closure reports.



SKILLS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

510 years of successful project management experience accountable for one or more of the following functions Engineering, Quality andor Manufacturing.

Experience in new product introduction and change management development, industrialization, or similar in EMS andor a mid to low volume electronics OEM.

Strong SMT and electronic integration process andor product knowledge, with broad understanding of test, industrial engineering, quality, manufacturing, supply chain etc., including productprocess transferences and new process introduction.

Strong leadership, interpersonal communication skills

Excellent time management project management skills

Good analytical and problemsolving skills

Proactive and ability to work in a team environment

Excellent command of written and spoken English

Strong analytical, problem solving and decisionmaking skills

Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with a proven track record to put ideasproposal across to others effectively

BS Degree or above in Engineering.

Project Management certification or equivalent experience.

Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO would be an asset

Fluent English language written and spoken

Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience

Mostly onsitein office position.
