This position reports to Engineering Manager Your role and responsibilities Understanding customer needs - being responsible for the electrical and software design – testing and commissioning globally.
That's the kind of task and challenges you like to have? You will be part of an international project & commissioning team providing control systems for high power rectifiers to our clients in the Aluminium, Arc Furnace and Chemical industry.

#LI-Hybrid You will be mainly accountable for.
• Develop and engineer tailored industrial systems, including electrical schematics, customer-specific software (PLC), and system testing, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Manage technical and commercial aspects of high-power rectifier systems (up to 100 kA/ V), including detailed engineering, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance worldwide.
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers to verify technical solutions, address issues, and conduct customer training.
• Contribute to new product development projects and support innovation initiatives.
Qualifications for the role A degree in Electrical Engineering Sound knowledge in E-CAD and PLC programming as well as high affinity with IT (HW, SW and protocols) A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills Fluency in English, German and any additional language is an asset Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30%) More about us Process Industries division delivers complete electrification and automation solutions, industry-specific products, and lifecycle services across industries.
