Production Planner.
Job Overview.
The Production Planner is responsible for developing and managing efficient production schedules that maximize efficiency and minimize costs while ensuring timely delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities.
Experience launching a new plant and assisting Engineering and IT team for system changes in the ERP systems, including routes, stock areas, part numbers, assembly codes, and BOM (Bill of Materials).
Release and manage production work orders and raw material orders in accordance with MRP, Kanban signals, and production plans.
Requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
4-6 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a related role within a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in Production Control, Inventory Control, or Purchasing.
Prior experience in inventory control and master scheduling is required.
Proficiency in ERP systems such as EPICOR, JDE, Oracle, or SAP, as well as advanced Excel skills.
Strong knowledge of Kanban, FIFO, and inventory management principles.
Knowledge of APICS, LEAN, or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
Experience working in a combined office-factory environment.
Advanced English language skills are essential for communication with international teams.
