PRODUCTION PLANNER

The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably working with medium to high volume products.
The Production Planner will work with Manufacturing and both the Component Planning and Customer Planning teams to fully understand demand and supply needs and balance those against operational goals.
This position will require a person that is capable of understanding the details of manufacturing processes, translating those into appropriate production plans, coordinating the necessary functional pieces and executing successfully against those plans.
The production planner is responsible for planning and managing production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company's productive capacity as well as managing inventory levels.
· Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet customer expectation · Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation.
· Creates production schedule and prioritizes job-orders for production optimization.
· Maintains the production schedule and other reports as required.
· Shipping priorities follow up (daily) · JDE Planning & Production leveling (2 weeks) · Daily production follow up (PEFF) · Heijunka templates creation · Production plan re-scheduling · Inventory levels follow up · Heijunka riel audit vs Peff · Production support · Eng Changes / SOP & Build out follow up · MRB follow up (AST) · Production rates vs cell capacity (weekly) · Daily OT meetings What is required.
· Bachelor's Degree (Business or Industrial Engineering) · Deeply understanding of logistic fundamentals and how supply chain interacts, finished product and raw material.
· Excel skills.
· MRP concepts knowledge · Able to understand BOM's · English 70% written/spoken, able to negotiate and provide feedback during arguments.
