pacifico *this is a high-potential position, the right candidate is expected to grow into a production supervisor role within a year* responsible for overseeing and coordinating the production activities within a manufacturing facility.
their primary role is to ensure that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely to meet production targets and quality standards, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
makes process adjustments to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency to reduce material and labor costs.
provide support to the production staff to produce electrical harness assemblies and organize and monitors workflow.
ensure that personnel assigned to each task, activity, and equipment(machine); work following safety guidelines and established methods and procedures.
coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production, and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment (continuous improvement).
lead the correct follow-up of corrective actions.
conduct gemba walks on the production floor.
quarterly participation in the panasonic 7 principles.
official analysis and reporting for monthly scrap.
enforce company standards and safety guidelines strictly.
encourage the generation of ideas in the improvement ideas system and the implementation of these.
