Responsibilities.
Leads and maintains detailed and comprehensive records of engineering changes. Leads RCA (root cause analysis) to determine that products perform in the intended manner per the proper certification standard.
(UL / NOM / IEC, etc).
Implement cost reduction projects.
Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, Purchasing and Production to fulfil technical requirements and assure project implementation on time.
Create and test prototypes. Design using NX or ProE Creo software, select materials and surface finish, create drawings. Mechanical simulation.
Generate prints, publish Bill of Materials (BOM), hold tooling and component design reviews, provide management updates, resolution to PPAPs and deviation requests.
Support production line to improve FPY, Quality (NCCs), Product delivery on time.
What will you need to succeed? Mechanical engineer or related discipline At least 6 months of experience in similar positions English Advanced Basic mechanical design, tolerance analysis and statistics.
