Job Summary   As a Die Casting Process Engineer, you will be responsible for improving die casting operations within the manufacturing facility.
Your role will involve leading/managing personnel, optimizing production processes, ensuring quality standards, and implementing safety measures to achieve efficient and effective production outcomes.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)   Oversee and manage the die casting process from initial design through production.
Ensure that casting processes meet quality, cost, and timeline requirements.
Lead or participate in cross-functional teams for process improvement projects.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Close training gaps the Team may have.
Design and develop molds, dies, and tooling for die casting operations.
Collaborate with toolmakers and designers to optimize tooling for efficiency and quality.
Make sure all designs meet the budgetary requirements.
Meet all project dates.
Develop and implement die books.
Select appropriate metal alloys for die casting based on product requirements.
Optimize casting parameters (e.
., temperature, pressure, cycle times) to improve productivity and reduce defects.
Preferred Skills and Experience   Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in die casting operations, including process design, tooling development, and quality management.
Strong knowledge of metal alloys, casting principles, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.
., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for die and mold design.
Familiarity with quality management systems (e.
., ISO standards) and statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot process issues effectively.
Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
English proficiency is a must.
