PLANNER

The Materials Planner is responsible for planning and controlling appropriate levels of inventory investment to support production while achieving revenue, on-time delivery, and inventory turn goals.
The role also includes expediting material to support production and new product development activities in the Binghamton plant, as well as maintaining appropriate levels of work in process.
ey Responsibilities.
lan and release orders to production to support the monthly output plan.
ork closely with department personnel to determine ongoing planning needs and production schedule changes.
erve as an interface to sales and new product development teams for related products.
nsure MRP compliance and resolve inventory discrepancies.
esolve supply and delivery issues as necessary and collaborate with the Materials team to expedite materials.
ake on occasional project team roles as necessary.
xperience \u Skills.
+ years in a similar position.
xperience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing; certification in these areas is a plus.
xperience with Oracle MRP system.
rofessional certifications desired in APICS/ISM, CPIM, CPM, CSCP.
