PLANNER

Responsibilities.
The planner is responsible to attain the efficiency projected, he/she ensures that whatever product is being run the manufacturing department meets or surpasses the set goal or standard and/or required level.
Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the production process.
Requirements.
1.- Bachelor Degree in business, Engineering or a related field preferred or more than 3 years of experience.
2.- English level Business Proficiency (80%) 3.- Extensive Knowledge in MPS and MRP systems and manufacturing systems 4.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
5.- Good interpersonal skills for working with various departments as well as vendor representatives.
6.- Excellent Planning and Organizational skills.
7.- Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
8.- Advanced Excel, and software associated with Outlook, Microsoft Word.
9.- Time management Tasks.
1.- Creates and/or organizes the production schedule on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and also make sure that every output (level) is recorded appropriately in the correct system 2.- Rectifies and/or reconcile differences and inaccuracies that have to do with shipment and deliveries to customers 3.- Makes sure schedules are given to Manufacturing in a timely fashion 4.- Ensures that every employee involved in the production process (Production Supervisors, Quality leads and Manufacturing Engineering) has a clear understanding of what needs to be run according to production levels and has a clear understanding as to what it is required to meet the order against product demand 5.- Analyzes Current Demand vs Forecast report every month * Reviews trends in the demand in coordination with Program Management * Analyzes capacities and supply chain * Implement strategies to meet with mains metrics.
On Time Performance, Inventory levels, Inventory turns and among others * Participation in NPI projects * Every month analyzes E&O report, identify at risk materials or reduce the purchasing for specific components * Daily communication with different departments to support and resolve issues 6.- Investigate problem arising during production and finding solutions (related to materials and scheduling) 7.- Maintain the inventory and identify shortages of materials 8.- Stay updated with market trends in the industry 9.- Create reports of activities carried out in production planning Puesto.
