his RoleAs we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our People Team.
As People Operations Specialist at PayJoy, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our organization's growth by managing a wide range of human resources functions, including systems administration, new hire onboarding, performance management, and HR policy and procedure development.
he ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently, problem-solve effectively, and contribute to the development of a positive workplace culture.
esponsibilitiesUtilize and manage various People Team systems, including BambooHR, Lever, Small Improvements, and CultureAmp.
emonstrate proficiency in these systems and adaptability to learn new HR technologies quickly.
ssist in the development, reimagining, and implementation of HR policies and procedures, receiving feedback and helping to reimagine our processes so that they meet everyone's needs.
roofread and edit People Team communications (company-wide emails, job descriptions, Handbooks, etc.)Assist in new hire onboarding and employee offboarding.
xplain and monitor company processes to help ensure that everyone is on track.
oach and guide colleagues on company policies and practices.
artner with other members of the People Team to support and revise existing processes.
ssist in the implementation and maintenance of performance management processes.
tay current with HR laws and regulations, ensuring company policies and procedures are compliant.
ake on various additional responsibilities in HR as needed.
equirementsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
inimum of 3 years of experience working on a multinational HR/People Team in a startup environment.
trong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
bility to work independently and proactively identify areas for improvement.
amiliarity with BambooHR, Lever, Small Improvements, and CultureAmp or similar HR systems.
dvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, including advanced MS Excel / Google Sheets skills.
trong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
bility to independently manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
bility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
S HR experience is a huge plus
