Job Description
We are seeking an experienced freelance Penetration Tester Ethical Hacker with a strong background in testing AWS environments. This is a taskbased role, where you will be compensated for each individual task completed. If you have a passion for cybersecurity, particularly in cloud environments, and enjoy the flexibility of freelance work, we want to collaborate with you.
Responsibilities
Perform penetration testing and security assessments specifically focused on AWS environments.
Identify, document, and report security vulnerabilities with detailed remediation steps.
Simulate attacks to evaluate the effectiveness of AWS security measures.
Provide recommendations to enhance the security posture of AWS services and configurations.
Collaborate remotely with our team to align on testing objectives and deliverables.
Stay updated on the latest AWS security practices, tools, and threats.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Penetration Tester or Ethical Hacker, with a focus on AWS environments.
Strong knowledge of AWS services, including IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda, and others.
Familiarity with cloud security tools and technologies.
Experience with penetration testing tools e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite and scripting languages e.g., Python, Bash.
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, CEH, or OSCP are highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills for clear reporting of findings and recommendations.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Compensation
Pay is taskbased, with rates determined by the scope and complexity of each task.
Flexible working hours, allowing you to work at your own pace.
