Aeronautical german company is requiring an OPERATIONAL PURCHASER for a new facility plant in Querétaro.
(Candidate selected will be able to travel during October and November to Germany for training) ?General duties of the job.
Accompany selection process of mainly local suppliers, manage the order process and supply of services, products required to operate the Mexican entity in time and quality.
Fixtures, technical improvements and equipment's, company installations and needs.
·      Manage and organize the procurement activities - in close cooperation with the functions in Germany – to secure an operational business start in Querétaro while ramping up the different transfer products - the outstanding.
a)  Building fixtures and technical improvements (e.
.
CCTV/security installations, cabling, compressor, hazardous material room, etc.) b)  Installations and furniture (e.
.
logistic racks, office and social room furniture) c)  Machine and equipment installations and work packages therefore (e.
.
exhaust piping installation, dedusting cabins, specific production booths, gluing cabins, paint booths, etc.) d)  Company related services and office material etc.
·      Identify for such work packages service providers or companies in Mexico/Querétaro, in close collaboration with the Facility Manager and manage the selection, ordering, purchasing process.
Duties of the job.
·      Develop suppliers for our new site in Mexico ·      Get in contact with new suppliers and generate a reliable supplier base ·      Negotiate with suppliers ·      Support the Facility Manager with the procurement of general equipment for our business start in Mexico ·      Create and process the orders operatively ·      Prepare tenders and evaluate them ·      Participate actively in the achievement of the procurement goals and strategy as well as the overall company targets ·      Process with supplier complaints ·      Show your communication skills and ability to work in teams ·      Work independently and show your time and self-management Requirements for the job.
·      University/college degree in business administration ·      At least 2-3 years professional experience in the field of Procurement and Project Management ·      Local supplier knowledge for services and facility material/equipment ·      Fluent Spanish and English (written and spoken).
Direct supervisor does not speak Spanish.
·      Negotiation skills and techniques ·      Reading construction drawings and specifications for services ·      Experiences with MS Office ·      Experiences with SAP Procurement modules and SAP ARIBA ·      Basics in Air Law training and Law of Contract Procurement ·      Basics in 8D method ·      Engagement with the Mission, Vision and values of the Company ·      Willingness to travel Soft Skills.
