Open CS Support Engineer Thales DIS is looking for an OpenCS Support Engineer in Mexico City.
The Digital Banking and support (DBS) team works with Readers, Middleware, SDK and Mobile & Strong Authentication Solutions.
DBS support team member works with Thales Technical consultants in pre-sales mode and customers under Support and Maintenance contracts.
This position also covers pre-sales activity.
A WEEK IN THE LIFE OF AN OPENCS SUPPORT ENGINEER.
• The Support Engineer handles problems which are new, and / or highly complex; on the different SDKs offered by Thales.
• Work in the front -line supporting customer on Open CS and Strong Authentication solutions for Digital Banking • Isolates & reproduces problem by developing a small test tools and applications.
• Build tools and full test environments used for the day-to-day troubleshooting.
• Find a solution or workaround.
• Escalate the problems to Thales DIS or third-party R&D in case of very complex problems or bugs.
• Work with Support Engineers, Professional Services and Product Managers.
• Act on behalf of PS team for the Mobile part of project in coordination with Professional Service Team when needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE Technical skills.
Open CS and Open CS Licensing Servers Good technical background in software development.
Understanding of Java or C, C ++ (University Training).
Good Understanding of HTML and REST API’s.
Knowledge in banking, security, and interfaces (Software and Hardware) is a plus.
Strong Authentication solutions based on One time Password algorithms, Smart card security, cryptography, and certificates.
Client-Server architectures, the Ability to build test environment.
Command of Linux and Windows Operating Systems, Basic knowledge in networks.
Education.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field with experience.
Skills.
Strong command of Spanish and English (Reading and Writing) Excellent communication skills Good teaming and networking skills.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Customer/Business oriented.
Good creative intelligence (design, conceptualization).
Prepared to invest whatever effort is required to get the job done.
Tenacious.
Organized, rigorous and autonomous Experience.
At least 1 year working experience with Open CS.
At least 3 working experience in a network or security software applications and Java development.
