Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a NPI Project Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, NPI Project Engineer role involves being in charge for launches of new processes and/or technologies.
What a typical day looks like.
Coordination of activities for the launch of the lines; as well as the fine-tuning of material and human resources for the capacity of the processes.
Document processes.
Comply with customer requirements.
PFMEA update at program launch.
Verify the closing of open stocks before SOP.
Identify risks, analyze them, raise them to the correct level of management, suggest corrective actions and verify the closure of the pending problems.
Serves as the primary contact between the sponsor and the organization at the project level.
Ensures escalation pathways adhered to internally and externally (Rules of Engagement – communication pathways).
On projects where the scope requires, ensures clear delineation in responsibilities and communication pathways for secondary project leads (such as lead in a specific region, lead for a specific vendor(s) or subset of delivery).
Accountable for the overall delivery of the cross-functional project (time, cost, quality).
Ensures financial stewardship at a project level by demonstrating an intimate understanding of the contract, resource alignment to budget, management of.
Establishes, communicates and manages customer expectations to achieve optimal delivery during the project.
Drives Risk Identification and Issue.
Resolution at project level.
Ensures project team compliance with organization policies, SOPs, regulatory and project specific requirements.
The experience we're looking to add to our team.
BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.
Fluent English.
NPI Experience.
Knowledge of product lifecycle.
Management of phases when they are in prototype.
Previous experience in project management.
Management of PLM (Agile, or some other system related to product states).
Reading and interpretation of drawings.
Experience in SolidWorks or CREO.
Knowledge of APQP.
Experience in metals segment is also a plus.
BAAN experience is also a plus.
