Position Software Engineer III

Experience Level Junior 1 years of experience, Intermediate 2 years of experience, Senior 4 years of experience

Contract to Hire Position Hybrid Mexico City

Initially, you will be in a contract position for 6 to 9 months, after which you will be permanently hired by the client company. You will work in the Mexico City office 2 days a week.

Responsibilities

Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity
Completing simple bug fixes and resolving technical issues
Working closely with other Development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs
Operating in various development environments Kanban and Scrum while collaborating with key stakeholders
Keeping abreast of industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software development processes
Writing clean, efficient code using best software development practices
Ensure software quality through unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
Contribute to Agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Requirements

Possess a Bachelors in Computer Science or a related field
Have a strong knowledge of Software Development methodologies e.g., Kanban and Scrum
Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with cloud services and deployment strategies.
Possess excellent organizational, project planning, and time management abilities with demonstrated proficiency in change management and effective task delegation, prioritization, and project management across diverse functional groups and departments
Be familiar with industry best practices, such as code coverage
Possess a good understanding of data modeling principles, data manipulation languages, and storage systems
Be proficient in .Net C. Experience in frontend technologies such as Angular
Be proficient in version control software GIT

Qualifications

2 years of Software Engineering experience
BS EngineeringComputer Science or equivalent experience required

Must have

Strong and effective communication skills
Successful candidates must speak and have a good command of English
