Are you passionate about databases and performance optimization? As a MySQL Administrator (DBA) at Epicor, you will play a key role in managing, maintaining, and optimizing MySQL databases to ensure high performance, availability, and security.
What you will be doing.
Optimizing Performance.
Monitor database performance, fine-tune queries, and identify areas for improvement.
User & Access Management.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies.
Data Integrity & Recovery.
Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data.
Scalability & Growth.
Implement sharding, clustering, and other scalability strategies.
Troubleshooting & Support.
Diagnose and resolve database errors, ensuring system stability.
Collaboration.
Assist developers in writing efficient SQL queries and best practices.
Documentation.
Maintain clear and up-to-date database records.
What you will likely bring.
3+ years of experience working with MySQL databases.
Expertise in schema design and normalization best practices.
Strong skills in query and process optimization, performance issue resolution, and security access management.
Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
