Experience and Responsabilities
Providing support to the Great Plains ERP platform for THD Rental and Equipment Services.
Check link issues, batch issues, reconciles, break fixes, etc.
The users run multiple reconciliations, historical stock status reports, etc. using PSTL.
Performing routine maintenance, installs, updates, patches, customizations, integrations, etc.
Including 3rd party applications.
Experience with various Great Plains 3rd party addons such as Winthrops Power Tools.
Need to have strong SQL skills.
Need to be very familiar with DB schema and table structures in Great Plains.
Ideally need experience with the Field Service module.
Integration experience as there are lots of integrations writing to and from Great Plains.
Solid understanding of eConnect functionality and experience supporting integrations using eConnect and Smart Connect.
Communication with end users to troubleshoot and resolve support tickets.
Currently running version GP 18.5, candidate should be able to coordinate and manage upgrade to lates 18.7.x version.
Need solid technical skills SQL, understanding all of the DB schema and eConnect AP integration layers the typical day to day work includes performing system updates, running reconciles, dealing with batches that get stuck, helping users who have issues like getting stuck in transactions, etc.
Ideally looking for 5 years of experience with Dynamics GP and SQL. Strong SQL Joins, update statements, transactional rollbacks, etc.
Have lots of integrations writing to and from GP, so integration experience is ideal.
Need to be able to walk through, in depth, how to troubleshoot some of the common problems with GP Work closely with team members on projects as they are a tight knit team.
They use the Field Service module for scheduling service calls on rental equipment out in field, so experience with that is a huge plus, but not necessarily required for the right candidate.
