Engineering Test and License Digital - let’s introduce ourselves Within the Engineering Test and License Digital, Product Section at Engineering Digital we support Engineering (R&D) with IT capabilities needed throughout the whole car development process.
A major part of our delivery is the Test Object Content Control (TOCC) umbrella where early phase test and verification builds are in the spotlight.
The agile TOCC products supports the entire lifecycle of a test object, from creation to the usage phase, and we are merely in the beginning of a very exciting journey for these products serving over users at R&D, Manufacturing Engineering and the Production plants globally.
TOCC is being developed to increase efficiency by enhancing Test Object utilization, Content Control and to modernise our old system landscape.
We now seek to strengthen our TOCC MSCB (Material, Supply Chain and Build) product handling the test object orders from material ordering, through receipt, warehouse activities, build and into a finished product.
We are looking for an engaged and enthusiastic Supply Chain Systems Specialist, preferably to be working on-site at Volvo Cars headquarters in Torslanda, Gothenburg.
What you’ll do The MSCB product builds on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Finance & Operations platform, with a focus on the Procurement and sourcing, Product information Management, Production Control and Warehouse modules.
You will be a part of a team that deliver features that improve business efficiency and enable new ways of working by utilizing out of the box functionality and customizations where required.
The team collaborate with our business stakeholders to understand their demands and ensure seamless quality and integration both within the product and with external systems.
You will be working with multiple user groups like Supply Chain Coordination, Goods Receipt, Warehouse and Build developing our product to best in class standards in this field.
Refining requirements for incremental deliveries you will work as a liaison between business and our technical landscape, both configuring yourself and initiating customizations to be developed.
As we are still in the rollout phase, with significant functionality yet to be developed.
Key responsibilities include.
•   Configuring MS Dynamics F&O 365.
Understand how to utilize out of the box functionality to optimize the system to suit business needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes and enhancing order to delivery efficiency.
•   Process Optimization.
Apply a process-thinking approach to analyze and streamline supply chain operations, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring that configurations support end-to-end.
•   Business Analysis.
Analyze business needs and design technical solutions, focusing on optimizing supply chain processes and operational efficiency.
•   Product Growth.
Collaborate with the Product Owner and architect to define and prioritize features, driving continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
•   Agile Development.
Join a cross-functional DevOps team, delivering incremental business value while adapting to evolving supply chain needs.
What you’ll bring We believe that good engineers can switch and learn new languages and technologies, but to be a great match for our team we believe you have experience from working on the Microsoft Dynamics F&O or other ERP systems (MANDATORY).
We also see you have experience from Order to delivery process analysis, preferably from automotive or manufacturing flows.
A knowledge of either Scrum, Power BI or Swedish is meritorious but not required.
