MECHANIC

Our major client is seeking a Mechanic to work within their facilities located in Pecos, TXu00A0on a 1+ years contract.
00A0 nn Responsibilities.
nn nt Ensures the successful ongoing operations and maintenance of facilities.
t Know how to use shovel, rake, post hole diggers, hammer, sledgehammer, hand wrenches & tools, electric drill, electric saw, measuring tape, square, gas-powered leaf blower and possibly other equipmentnt Responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance work at production and support facilities.
t Ensures the daily work status is captured and next days schedule is reviewed and communicated with appropriate personnel.
t May communicate with service providers to ensure their availability to meet the schedule needsnt Ensures work plans are completed in a safe and timely manner.
nn u00A0 nn Experience.
nn nt Entry and intermediate level (1-3 years of experience)nt Experience as a Lease Operator is a plusnt Provides more technical support than administrative support.
nn nt Typically viewed as a technical/functional specialist in discipline.
t Mechanical Skillsnt Must be a safety conscious individual with strong work ethic & a team playernt Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders & stairsnt Must be able to work outside in the elements of cold, hot, dust, dirt & windnt Must have a good driving record to operate company equipment inside facility boundariesn n
