Job Description
Are you a passionate engineer with expertise in corrugated cardboard and packaging production We are looking for you Join our team as a Materials Engineer and lead innovative technologicall projects that will have a direct impact on our packaging processes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the technical execution of current and new packaging projects.
Manage and select material suppliers to ensure design viability and efficiency.
Interpret technical specifications and communicate with suppliers to ensure quality and compliance with requirements.
Evaluate the current and potential capabilities of suppliers, working with them to improve their processes.
Coordinate inspection reviews and design for manufacturing DFM with suppliers.
Provide technical solutions for manufacturing issues, including design changes and process improvements.
Accurately interpret and analyze packaging tests.
Ensure the punctuality and compliance of tooling, sampling, and prototyping schedules.
Maintain and update an open issues list, ensuring accountability and meeting project deadlines.
Implement and communicate quality programs, collaborating with quality and procurement teams.
Participate in concept designs, considering aesthetic and functional aspects.
Requirements
Direct experience in corrugated cardboard production.
Strong project management skills and technical expertise.
Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various departments.
Proficiency in both English and Spanish CV must be submitted in both languages.
