ABOUT THE ROLE SC Johnson's IT Organization is comprised of several groups contributing to the overall IT success of SC Johnson globally.
This position, BI Delivery Manager, is part of the Business Integration and Digital team in the IT organization of SC Johnson, and reports into the Data & Analytics Delivery Director.
This role will have the opportunity to lead a visualization team to work with business users and product owners and manage the delivery of reporting and analytics products across SC Johnson's business functions.
This is an onsite role in Racine, WI KEY RESPONSIBILITIES As part of enterprise reporting and delivery group, lead a team of business intelligence and visualization experts to deliver insightful, visually compelling, and engaging dashboard and business intelligence visualizations that will be leveraged globally by business leaders and executives Manage the visualization team, nurturing and growing talent and skills to maximize their potential and the value to SCJ, inspiring them to provide the right solution in accordance with standards, budgets, and proper practices Manage the delivery of business intelligence reporting and analytics engagement and initiatives from planning, analysis, development, testing, and deployment of reporting and analytics solutions to support SCJ business requirements Engage and coordinate across business functions and IT functions in execution of reporting and analytics initiatives to define scopes and success criteria and ensure delivery of reporting and analytics engagements in line with the parameters of cost, quality, schedule, objectives, and business value Manage escalation, risk and issue resolution and communication Ensure alignment with leadership and business through proactive, consistent, and clear communication Partner with data engineering, governance, and architecture team to ensure deliverables meet enterprise standards for performance, delivery, and security As the Business Intelligence and visualization lead, responsible for defining and maintaining best practice guidelines for data visualization and consumption Identify improvement opportunities and lead initiatives to enhance delivery of reporting and analytics product REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field.
R elevant military experience considered in lieu of degree requirement 7+ years of experience managing data and analytics projects, with a focus on business intelligence and data warehousing, leveraging modern BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI 5+ years of people management 7+ years of experience of project management methodologies and tools (Agile, Waterfall, JIRA) 5+ years of experience with data engineering and BI tools (e.

Power BI, Tableau) PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS Ability to quickly evaluate reporting and analytics requirement, synthesize data from multiple sources and visualize results, skilled at data exploration and data analysis Ability to effectively communicate at various levels within the enterprise Ability to partner and collaborate effectively across multiple teams Ability to ask questions effectively with our business partners that lead to deeper understanding of the business problem Able to negotiate and adapt to changing situations and audiences Knowledge of star schema and dimensional modeling techniques Knowledge in writing SQL code for modifying and transforming data Experience using data preparation tools like Alteryx and Tableau Prep JOB REQUIREMENTS Full time with occasional operational support outside core business hours Ability to travel when conditions return to normal ~10% Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees This role is eligible for domestic relocation SC Johnson's total compensation packages are at or above industry levels.
