LOGISTICS CARE SPECIALIST

What's the role? The role of Logistics Care Specialist is to identify and proactively resolve potential Order delays due to logistics processes to help drive customer engagement.
This role provides a contact point for account managers & other internal teams to seek resolution on logistics related topics.
This includes tracking orders, material visibility, and contact points for the warehouse etc.

What does the role involve? Increase customer delivery satisfaction by providing transparency to outbound shipments.
Resolve potential fulfilment issues by presenting delivery solutions based on available inventory levels, consolidating number of shipments per order, and expedited shipping where relevant.
Monitor orders on specific holds for accuracy, insuring timely release to distribution centers for shipping.
Ensure all order holds resolved prior to cut off by working with responsible cross-functional teams.
Effectively utilize database analysis to record actions taken and characteristics of orders identified as potential failures.
Develop strong partnerships with Materials Management/Transportation/Warehouse etc.
Develop trust with field sales to increase AM productivity by handling calls & email volume as per defined level of service.
Update/Cancel Outbound deliveries & Troubleshoot orders with delivery issues Complex order tracking & working with carriers to review delivery status.

High School Diploma/GED, required Associates Degree, preferred Minimum four (4) years’ experience, required Knowledge of SAP systems – APO & R3 Functional knowledge of logistics processes Solid knowledge of related business processes (i.

Operations & Logistics) Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills  Strong PC skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint  Good communication, organization, and analytical skills  Detail oriented and able to handle multiple responsibilities and make decisions Who should apply?
