Technology Specialist with 6 to 8 years of experience in Linux Admin (RHEL/SLES/OEL) Shell scripting and IBM AIX Admin.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pharmacy Benefit Management.
This role is hybrid with day shifts and does not require travel.
The candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure to support our business operations.
Responsibilities Manage and maintain Linux servers (RHEL/SLES/OEL) to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
Administer IBM AIX systems ensuring they are secure stable and up-to-date.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and enhance IT infrastructure.
Implement and maintain security best practices to protect sensitive data and systems.
Provide technical support and guidance to other IT team members as needed.
Participate in the planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in the Pharmacy Benefit Management domain.
Document system configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements.
Assist in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure system resilience.
Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
Qualifications Must have extensive experience in Linux Admin (RHEL/SLES/OEL).
Must be proficient in shell scripting for automation and efficiency.
Must have strong experience in IBM AIX Admin.
Must have domain experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management.
Should have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Should possess strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Should be familiar with security best practices and compliance requirements.
Should have experience with system upgrades and migrations.
Should be knowledgeable about disaster recovery planning and testing.
Should be able to document technical procedures and configurations effectively.
Should stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements.
Should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
