We are currently searching for a Level 3 MS SQL Database Administrator.
Responsibilities Plan, install, configure, and upgrade MS SQL Server and Oracle databases.
Monitor performance, optimize efficiency, and tune SQL and Oracle databases.
Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
Enforce database security measures and perform periodic audits.
Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and patching strategies.
Set up proactive monitoring and respond to database alerts promptly.
Lead database-related projects and automate routine tasks.
Create and maintain comprehensive database documentation.
Diagnose and resolve complex database-related issues.
Collaborate with support teams and manage database projects effectively.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Several years of experience as a Level 3 MS SQL Database Administrator.
Advanced knowledge of Oracle databases and MS SQL Server architecture.
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL scripting for automation.
Strong understanding of database high availability and security.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server certifications preferred.
