Candidate will join a dynamic team based in APHQ, supporting a wide variety of corporate activities across China.
Legal function Legal is a global function providing legal support to all companies and business units within Volvo Cars.

What you'll do Candidate will be a key member of the APAC legal team based in APHQ, which provides legal support on the corporate side.
Daily work will include the following.
1) Supporting business in drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements concerning digital, software and connected services; 2) Supporting selected corporate functions on legal matters in daily operation; 3) Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure that contracts align with company objectives, business needs and policies; 4) Supporting team leader in specific projects.
What you'll bring • At least LLB degree from a reputable Chinese law school.
• 7-9 years legal working experience in reputable law firms and/or MNCs.
Solid experience in law firm(s) is a must.
• PRC Bar qualified is a must, with overseas law degrees and/or qualification being a plus.
• Familiarity with digital, software & connected services industry is a plus.
• M&A experience is a plus.
• Automotive industrial experience is preferred but not a must.
Desired Competences • Self-motivated, reliable and committed; detail-oriented.
• Good organizational and time management abilities, with proficiency to multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Enthusiastic to learn; ready to take up new area of practice and new challenges.
• Have excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills; ability to develop effective working relationship with cross functional peers.
• Good written and oral English and Chinese.
• A team player with a proactive and customer-oriented mind-set.
