Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.
his segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network.
The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications.
The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Role Purpose Responsable de dar soporte en el despliegue de actividades que sean requeridas para la mejora continua en áreas de producción.
Soporte a proyectos de Ingeniería/Lean Mfg.(Proyectos de balanceo, diseño de layout, proyectos de reducción de costos)   Key Responsibilities Coordinar y Participar en auditorias 5’s Capacitacion y entrenamiento a personal de nuevo ingreso 5S/ikaizen Toma de tiempos y balanceo de linea.
Líder de cambio, ser participe en la implementación de mejoras Liderar eventos y coordinar equipos de trabajo para lograr la mejora en los procesos de produccion Generar mapas de proceso  Análisis de proceso, reduccion y eliminacion de desperdicio Coordinacion de eventos de mejroa continua Experiences/Education - Required  Carrera Tecnica                      +5 años de experiencia                  Experiences/Education - Desired Habilidades computacionales.
Conocimientos de Ingenieria Industrial (Tack Time, Desperdicios Lean) AUTOCAD Visio / eVSM  Conocimiento de metodología DMAIC                          Canada (iBwave) remove as needed.
