LATAM Field Support Engineer Iztapalapa, CDMX (Onsite) Position Summary Thales is looking for a LATAM Field Support Engineer who is primarily responsible to support Banking personalization centers in LATAM.
In this position, you will also be responsible to ensure Thales Personalization center for the LATAM region to remain up to date in personalization software/infrastructure by solving Level 2 issues related to personalization software and processes, raised by the plants in Mexico and Brazil.
Key Areas of Responsibility Ensure onsite level 2 support (by travel or in remote) and ensure escalation process to development teams when needed.
Coordinate / Manage deployment with local teams of IPS Software/Tools including Production Equipment topics, Data Processing, Crypto systems, and Job Management systems.
Be the point of contact for a set of Personalization centers over LATAM’s region.
Provide regular feedback to the development team through Central Support and Deployment teams about production needs and ensure those requirements are understood and considered into development roadmap.
Participate to Software integration/acceptance before LIVE migration.
Define and provide recommendations, ensure knowledge and best practice transfer to other team members and production sites in the area.
Ensure training of final users for them to properly operate systems and manage level 1 support.
Minimum Qualifications Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience in IPS Personalization Softwares.
Fluent in English, both oral and written.
Knowledge in Programming (Java, Python, MariaDB) would be desired.
Strong communicator and negotiator, analytical, results-oriented, customer-oriented, a strong time manager, autonomous, honest, and empathetic.
