What You’ll Do Design & Build Networks.
Deploy and manage robust LAN, WAN, and WLAN solutions, configuring routers, switches, and wireless access points.
Tackle Layer 2/Layer 3 networking tasks, including VLANs and advanced routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
Secure the Systems.
Set up and troubleshoot firewalls (Meraki, SonicWall, Palo Alto), implement VPNs, secure access solutions, and maintain intrusion prevention systems to meet stringent security standards.
Optimize & Troubleshoot.
Use tools like SolarWinds, NetFlow, and Wireshark to diagnose and resolve complex network issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Lead Projects & Partner with Vendors.
Take charge of network migrations and upgrades, evaluate vendor solutions, and build strong partnerships with providers to deliver the best infrastructure outcomes.
Document & Streamline Processes.
Maintain thorough network documentation and manage change processes effectively to guarantee consistency and quick recovery during incidents.
The Profile What Makes You Stand Out Proven Expertise.
At least 5 years of experience in network engineering, specializing in enterprise-level networking and firewall technologies.
Technical Mastery.
Hands-on experience with enterprise hardware (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba) and firewalls (Meraki, SonicWall, Palo Alto), paired with strong Layer 2/Layer 3 networking knowledge.
Security Focused.
Deep understanding of network security practices, compliance standards like NIST or ISO , and practical experience enhancing email security (e.
., Proofpoint).
Certifications.
CCNA, CCNP, PCNSA, or similar credentials are highly desirable.
Cloud Networking.
Familiarity with Azure or AWS networking, as well as hybrid infrastructures, is a plus.
Soft Skills.
Exceptional problem-solving, a proactive mindset, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse teams.
Performance Tuning.
Experience optimizing network performance and implementing security strategies.
