YOUR ROLE The Weight Management BOM Analyst will lead bill of materials validation to improve fidelity of weight status roll-ups.
This individual will generate weight BOMus on a regular basis and will conduct a thorough analysis to identify issues impacting weight accounting integrity.
As needed, they will follow up with an extended cross functional team to confirm part content and weight values.
Daily activities for this role include but are not limited to the following.
Download BOMus from corporate systems followed by detailed analysis and weight tracking Set-up meetings with design teams to review their parts and weights.
Confirm content and status Work with Weight Team Leads to provide regular weight status updates to the extended team Support Weight Leads to develop and track weight reduction opportunities list Coordinate component weighing @ suppliers & assembly plants Assist with the validation of prototype vehicle weights comparing them to virtual BOM roll-ups YOUR PROFILE Good conversational English (B2, C1, C2) Bachelor's degree in Engineering 2+ years of relevant automotive product development experience.
Knowledge of the overall program development life cycle Strong proficiency in Microsoft computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
Experience analyzing data and formulating meaningful conclusions and recommendations.
