JR. PROJECT MANAGER

Job Summary.
The Information Systems Project Manager, under direct supervision of a Program Manager, manages up to medium-sized projects or phase(s) of a larger project.
The Information Systems Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of the organization's strategic projects within the planned timeframe and scope.
This position requires a combination of technical proficiency, proven project management skills, strong communication skills and a deep understanding of the automotive finance industry.
Job Responsibilities.
Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks such as detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders.
Work with the Information Systems Manager, Program Manager and stakeholders to ensure project goals are in line with business objectives.
Conduct kick-off to start the project and review the overall project plan and gain consensus.
Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
Manages changes to project scope, project schedule and project costs.
Direct and coordinate the activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.
This includes all organization business and external vendor activities as well.
Monitor project activities, ensuring the currency, quality, and integrity of information, while providing consistency in content and “look and feel” across the organization.
Ensure that project goals are achieved.

Review project proposals or plans to develop a time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and the assignment of available departmental resources to various project phases Job Knowledge and Skills.
