This position reports to IS Service Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the monitoring and development of Information Systems (IS) functionality, in close collaboration with our business partners, in the Robotics & Dis-crete Automation IS Business Area in Mannheim, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
You will be managing the middleware application, including the development of new processes, trou-bleshooting, configuring various IS components and collaboration within a highly collaborative, caring team environment.

SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, SAP API Management) and development of specific know-how • Interface design and development based on SAP Integration Suite, SAP Cloud Integration, SAP Process Integration • Direct communication with external and internal business partners • Handling of Incident- and Change Management • Set up objects in SAP NetWeaver Admin (e.
.
destinations, keystores, and PGP) • Configure objects in the Integration Directory for message routing and web services, including various adapters like sFTP, FTP(S), File, HTTPS, SOAP, REST • Create objects in the Enterprise Service Repository for operation mappings, graphical message mappings, XSLT, Java mappings and Java UDF.
Perform format mapping for EDIFACT and IDoc standards and external definitions • Handle integration processes (ccBPM).
Qualifications for the role A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Technology or similar Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Systems (IS) operations, working as an IS Functional Specialist with a focus on project management, ticket handling and development Knowledge of SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite Sound knowledge of ABAP and Java stacks, message monitoring, workflows, queues, and various IS components and technologies Familiarity with relevant tools and methodologies in the field of IS and a deep understanding of the IS sector Proficiency in working with specialized IS software and platforms, including SAP NetWeaver and Solution Manager Demonstrate exceptional communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and address complex IT challenges Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken; basic proficiency in German is a plus Benefits Retirement plan Employee Share Acquisition Plan Canteen Accident insurance Flexible work practices More about us ABB is able to offer you an interesting role within a highly motivated team, together with open communication structures.
