The ideal candidate will have proven experience in executing complex M&A transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and restructurings.
This position requires strong analytical skills, in-depth market knowledge, and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Main responsabilities.
Execute M&A Transactions.
Actively participate in all phases of M&A transactions, from identifying opportunities to closing deals.
Manage the due diligence process, document preparation, and negotiation of terms.
Advanced Financial Analysis and Modeling.
Develop complex financial models to evaluate transactions, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, company valuations, comparable multiples, and scenario analysis.
Preparation of Presentation Materials.
Create pitchbooks, due diligence reports, confidential information memorandums (CIMs), and client presentations that summarize the strategic and financial value of M&A opportunities.
Market and Industry Research.
Conduct detailed market and industry research to identify key trends, synergies, and potential risks for transactions.
Client Relationship Management.
Maintain close relationships with clients, advising them on strategic M&A opportunities and guiding them through the negotiation and deal-closing process.
Business Development.
Collaborate with directors in identifying new business opportunities, including evaluating potential clients and preparing proposals for new and existing clients.
Main requirements.
Education.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
An MBA or equivalent master's degree will be considered a plus.
Experience.
5 years of specific experience in M&A within investment banking, private equity, strategic consulting, or related fields.
Experience with cross-border transactions is an advantage.
Technical Skills.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, etc.).
Analytical Skills.
Strong ability to evaluate complex transaction structures and present clear, strategic solutions to clients.
Communication and Presentation Skills.
Ability to draft and present reports clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
Exceptional skills in negotiation and relationship-building.
Teamwork and Time Management.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure environment, collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
