This position reports to Procurement Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement (6-12 months).
Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed.
You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

onsite #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Procurement team in Schaffhausen, Switzerland.
Main stakeholders are Electrification division.
You will be mainly accountable for.
• Manage sub projects in sourcing and benchmarking activities • Support the local Power User with our eProcurement tools • Assist and support in process optimization • Report on price development and market intelligence • Master Data correction actions & document management • External supplier correspondence • KPI tracking and reporting • Organize and prepare supplier visits and audits Qualifications for the role You are currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in economics, engineering, information systems or similar You have with first supply chain experience You are at ease communicating in German (at least C1) and English (at least B2) You are confident in handling MS Excel You have strong communication skills and a proactive, independent and well-organized working behavior You are curious and initiative SAP knowledge is a plus Non-EU/non-EFTA citizens, please note that a certificate from your university, showing that an internship is a mandatory part of your studies, is required for the visa application More about us ABB Schaffhausen is part of the ABB Electrification branch and provides low voltage products and compact solutions.
