We can’t wait to welcome you! The Role The Social Responsibility & DEI (Philanthropy and Human Rights) intern will support the planning and execution of Social Responsibility & DEI initiatives, programs, and events.
They will collaborate with the ESG team and other departments to learn more about our work and how it supports the company’s values-driven culture, while bringing a fresh perspective to enhance our efforts.
With a passion for Social Responsibility & DEI, they will research and present new opportunities for future growth within the landscape.
What you'll do Cultural Inclusion Calendar     Support the Social Responsibility & DEI team with the development of a cultural calendar for corporate team members/ERGs.
Wish Day     Support the planning and execution of a Wish Day opportunity for the summer interns, as well as the promotion of Wish Days and other volunteer opportunities for corporate team members, i.
., global virtual volunteer events with Percent Pledge.
Awareness/Observance Communications     Draft monthly (July and August) awareness/observance articles for Wyndham Weekly.
Wyndham Relief Program     Shadow the Manager, Social Responsibility, in the development of a new relief program for corporate team members; participate in planning meetings with SR, Wyndham Rewards, Legal, and Communications     Educational Partnerships Committee     Support the formalization, tracking, and reporting of the Educational Partnerships Committee     You'll be successful if you have Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; project management skills; Microsoft Office Suite proficiency; additional software proficiencies a plus     Passionate about DEI and Social Responsibility, and looking to gain valuable professional experience Required Qualifications/Experience   HR, Psychology, Business, Communications, Liberal Arts.
Social Responsibility, DEI, HR, or related fields.
Be enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school undergraduate or graduate degree program.
Be an undergraduate Rising Senior or pursuing a graduate degree.
