Job Description.
This position will be responsible for managing and improving the build and release processes for our software products.
This role requires a deep understanding of software development, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps, automation, and a passion for optimizing and streamlining software delivery pipelines.
Please consider that this is a Temporary position (1 year).
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to.
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient build and release pipelines.
Automate build, test, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable releases.
Monitor and troubleshoot build and deployment issues, ensuring timely resolution.
maintain and improve CI/CD tools and infrastructure, including Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
Develop and enforce best practices for version control, branching, and merging strategies.
ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in the build and release processes.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the build and release processes.

Qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications, are required to be initially considered for this position.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in build and release engineering, DevOps, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Circle CI, or similar.
3+ years of experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Groovy.
1+ years of experience working with buiild automation tools such as Make, CMake, Ant, Maven, Gradle or similar.
Intermediate to Advanced English level.
The position is in Mexico, it is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Master's degree in Computer science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
3+ years of experience working with version control systems, particularly Git.
Strong understanding of Linux operating systema, including Shell scripting and Command-line tools.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
