Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an HVAC Facilities Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager the HVAC Facilities Engineer role applies engineering values to design, modify, or develop facilities, testing, machines, equipment, or processes used in processing or manufacturing products.
What a typical day looks like.
Develop and design HVAC systems, including chilled water systems, direct expansion systems, air injection, and air extraction systems.
Oversee the execution of HVAC projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and timelines.
Create detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
Researches facility products or equipment specifications and performance requirements to define designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods.
Researches engineering proposals, process requirements and related technical data pertaining to industrial facilities machinery and equipment design.
Defines feasibility of designing new plant facilities equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning and other technical and economic factors.
Provides technical facilities information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties and process advantages and limitations which affect long range plant and product engineering planning.
Compiles and researches facilities research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified equipment.
Studies engineering and technical publications to keep abreast of technical changes and developments in industry.
The experience we're looking to add to our team.
BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
Intermediate English.
Experience in HVAC design and project management.
Proficiency in CAD software for project design.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems and their applications, as well as utilities (steam, cooling media, heating media, water systems, compressed air).
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
