What we’re looking for   o provide specialist HSE business support to missing risks to colleagues and the business.
Ensure hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation and controls, are appropriate to the risk, achievable, and effectively implemented.
Use experience and knowledge (both own and that of our clients and industry/sector bodies) ensuring complex/demanding situations are managed effectively to eliminate harm.
Working with the HSE Business Partner ensure the effective implementation of the Group HSE management system including identification of hazards and assessment, monitoring of HSE performance, oversight and support for the closure of corrective actions.

The role     Support and advise on HSE hazard identification, risk assessment and subsequent mitigations and controls development to minimise risk and assure the safety of colleagues and the business.
Support HSE Business Partners in developing and implementing HSE, processes, and risk management frameworks Ensure collaboration within HSE Advisor community across different countries to ensure consistent safety standards and address local regulatory requirements, drive safety culture across diverse countries.
Ensure that activities are carried out in line with internal procedures, regulations, industry standards or contractual requirements relating to HSE, through effective monitoring, inspection and audits of activity.
Pursue Continuous Professional Development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
Mentor/coach people leaders in operations ensuring best practice health, safety, and environmental leadership practices are observed.
Horizon scan both internal and external changes, including the resolution of operational concerns, to ensure a proactive and agile approach to problem solving delivering effective, efficient and innovative resolutions to concerns, building relationships with internal and external HSE client representatives, regulators, and industry advisory groups to support change.
Ensure implementation of HSE programmes and changes are planned, evaluated, and processed in accordance with local business requirements and agreed deadlines.
To ensure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements, the LR HSE management system, ISO and ISO are maintained.
Support the investigation of HSE events and make recommendations for corrective action and ensure actions are addressed on time that learning from experience is effectively communicated to prevent further harm.
Responsible for reviewing HSE performance by using insights to proactively support continual improvement activities, ensuring HSE programmes remain effective at minimising risk, including identifying and implementing learning from experience communications (both from internal and external sources).
Support Incident Response Teams and Critical Event Management Team to manage events ensuring HSE is actively considered in decision making.
   What you bring   A degree or equivalent from a tertiary organisation recognised by Lloyd’s Register within the   Proven experience in HSE hazard identification, risk assessment, and the development of effective mitigation and control measures to minimize risk and ensure the safety of colleagues and the business.
Strong knowledge of HSE processes, risk management frameworks, and the ability to support and advise on their development and implementation.
Experience in collaborating within a global HSE Advisor community, ensuring consistency of safety standards and addressing local regulatory requirements across diverse countries.
Solid understanding of industry standards, internal procedures, and regulations relating to HSE, including the ability to effectively monitor, inspect, and audit activities.
Commitment to continuous professional development, staying updated on best practices, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
Leadership capabilities to mentor and coach people leaders in operations, promoting best practices in health, safety, and environmental leadership.
Proactive approach to horizon scanning, ensuring agility in addressing operational concerns and driving effective solutions.
Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including HSE client representatives, regulators, and industry advisory groups, to support ongoing change and improvements.
Expertise in planning, evaluating, and processing the implementation of HSE programmes and changes in accordance with business requirements and deadlines.
Strong understanding of compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements, including experience with ISO and ISO .
Experience in investigating HSE events, making recommendations for corrective actions, and ensuring timely resolution of issues to prevent future incidents.
Analytical skills to review HSE performance, using insights to proactively support continual improvement and ensure the effectiveness of HSE programmes.
Experience in supporting Incident Response Teams and Critical Event Management Teams to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into decision-making during critical events.
