Morgan Philips Executive Search is looking for a Supply Chain Head to lead and optimize our supply chain operations.
This role is critical in ensuring the seamless flow of goods from suppliers to customers, driving efficiencies, and supporting the company's growth and sustainability goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities.
Strategic Leadership.
Develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy in alignment with company goals and objectives.
Operational Management.
Oversee and manage end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
Team Leadership.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team; foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Vendor Management.
Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners; negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance.
Process Optimization.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction; implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Data Analysis.
Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels.
Risk Management.
Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration.
Work closely with other departments such as Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
Qualifications.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in supply chain management, with a track record of leadership in a senior role.
Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and vendor relations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive performance.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different functions and levels of the organization.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools; experience with ERP systems is highly desirable
