HEAD OF PRODUCT MANAGEMENT, ALEXA MEXICO

DESCRIPTION Are you passionate about cutting edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and ambient computing? The Amazon Alexa International team is seeking an experienced Product leader to drive the expansion of new Alexa-powered devices and experiences in Mexico and Spanish-speaking US.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the overall strategy and vision for the Alexa Spanish experience.
As a cross-functional leader, you will lead a team of product and program managers, and collaborate closely with business development, solutions architects, finance, engineering, tax, accounting, and legal teams to execute this vision.
Key job responsibilities Strategic Leadership.
- Define the long-term strategic vision and roadmap for the Alexa Spanish experience in Mexico and US Hispanic markets.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities to drive the growth and expansion of the Alexa Spanish experience.
- Translate the strategic vision into actionable plans and lead cross-functional teams to execute on priority initiatives.
Product Management and Delivery.
- Own the end-to-end customer experience for the Alexa Spanish experience across Echo and FTV devices.
- Analyze user feedback, identify gaps, and define feature enhancements to continuously improve the Alexa Spanish experience.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop detailed product requirements and user stories, ensuring effective translation into technical specifications and architecture.
- Oversee the successful delivery of products and experiences to market, working closely with program management and engineering teams.
Business Optimization and Growth.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market landscape, customer needs, and competitive dynamics in Mexico and US Hispanic markets.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to create compelling go-to-market strategies and campaigns to drive customer acquisition and engagement.
- Proactively identify and address strategic issues that may impact the team's ability to meet its goals.

You should have a proven track record of successfully leading the launch and growth of innovative products or services, preferably in the AI or consumer electronics industry.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of team management experience - 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with end to end product delivery - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Bachelor's degree PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience relying on analytics and data to cultivate deep customer empathy, shape product decisions and track effectiveness of change - Experience working with a cross-functional team across design, operations, and engineering team to meet high-reaching goals - Experience with product cycles of 6+ months - Master's degree in engineering, management, or technology
