Job Title Head of Legal and Compliance - Mexico Job Description Head of Legal and Compliance – Mexico Drive legal excellence and compliance strategy to support business growth in a multinational healthcare environment.
Your role.
Lead all legal and compliance matters in Mexico, ensuring business operations align with local and international regulations while fostering a culture of integrity and ethical governance.
Partner with senior leadership, commercial, regulatory affairs, finance, and HR teams to provide strategic legal guidance and risk mitigation strategies.
Manage civil, labor, and litigation matters, offering expert advice on commercial contracts, tenders, and regulatory compliance to support business objectives.
Engage with regulatory authorities, industry associations, and external counsel to represent the company’s interests and ensure proactive compliance.
This role offers leadership development, exposure to complex legal challenges in healthcare, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
You're the right fit if.
You have 10+ years of legal experience, including 10+ years in multinational corporations, with expertise in civil, labor, and litigation management.
Your skills include contract law, regulatory compliance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, with a strong ability to advise on labor, commercial, and tender matters.
You hold a law degree from a recognized university in Mexico and are well-versed in the local legal framework.
You have a strong executive presence, confidently engaging with senior leadership while maintaining a collaborative, solution-oriented approach.
How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart.
For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This is an office role.
