FPGA Apps Engineer Job Description.
As FPGA Apps Engineer at Arrow Electronics, you will be supporting Arrow’s customers to enable their end-products and speed-up time to market.
Projects may consist of small modifications to existing code up to projects requiring ground-up firmware development driven by formal statements of work.
What You'll Be Doing.
Provide technical support to customers by addressing inquiries, replicating setups, troubleshooting issues, and resolving FPGA-related challenges.
Assist with design migration between FPGA devices, ensuring seamless functionality and optimized performance.
Collaborate closely with customers and internal engineering teams to ensure successful design implementation and system integration.
Develop and optimize FPGA designs as needed, focusing on synthesis, timing closure, and performance goals.
Verify and troubleshoot hardware designs using simulation tools, logic analyzers, and other debugging equipment.
Utilize FPGA-specific tools (e.
., Modelsim, QuestaSim, Quartus) for simulation, synthesis, and debugging to support customer projects.
Review customer specifications and provide technical guidance to align designs with project requirements and best practices.
Document technical findings and solutions to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
What We're Looking For.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or related degree.
Previous experience using simulation software 3+ years of experience working in similar role Knowledge in microprocess Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish Experience with AI, Machine learning is a nice to have Work Arrangement.
