we are seeking a skilled mechanic to join our team in tijuana, mexico, located near the chevron stadium.
the ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining various mechanical equipment and machinery.
this role requires hands-on experience, technical knowledge, and a commitment to ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment.
key responsibilities.
- inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment such as compressors, pumps, motors, etc., using a variety of hand tools, pulleys, vises, drills, and lathes.
- utilize diagnostic skills and equipment knowledge to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions effectively.
- perform dismantling and replacement of internal combustion engines, electric pumps, generators, transmissions, clutches, and other components as needed.
- operate equipment to verify functionality, conduct oil changes, check batteries, lubricate machinery, and execute preventive maintenance tasks.
- adhere to standard operating procedures (sop) for mechanical maintenance to ensure consistency and safety in all procedures.
