S&P Global Commodity Insights is seeking candidates for our 10-week internship program within our Energy Consulting Practice business line which is part of our IMPACT Program.
IMPACT (Innovative Mentoring and Professional Acceleration in Commodities) is one of our many programs within Commodity Insights aimed at developing early career talent globally.
The internship program will run from June to August.

As part of the Energy Consulting Practice, you will participate in a variety of projects and initiatives.
As a summer intern you will be expected to.
Develop energy industry knowledge in various markets as driven by different consulting projects and client needs, typically entailing supply-demand modelling, legal and regulatory framework analysis, entry strategies, scenario energy planning, economics analysis, reliability studies, and asset due diligence and valuation.
Leverage our suite of S&P Global products and models and be capable of conducting a wide range of energy industry analysis and workflows at the highest standards of rigor and speed.
Perform timely and rigorous analysis, create written reports and presentations, and present findings to the project team and client stakeholders.
Network and collaborate with various S&P Global subject matter experts around the world in the planning and delivery of consulting projects.
What We’re Looking For.
Candidates should demonstrate keen interest in, and familiarity with, the energy sector – either through relevant post-graduate studies and/or work experience (i.
., industry, banking, or consulting), ideally, with a large or leading organization.
Successful candidates must also show technical proclivity – through either their experience or education.
To be an ideal fit for the role, you should have.
Currently pursuing an MBA with an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Economics, or Business, graduating in May/June .
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
An aptitude to learn and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment The ability to build strong relationships in a collaborative setting.
