Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.
his segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network.
The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications.
The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Role Purpose Inspection, monitoring of plant operations in terms of safety and environment.
Key Responsibilities • Preparation of labels for waste and chemical materials.
• Translation and capture of information from Material Safety Data Sheets in the database.
• Teaching courses to contractors related to ISO and Contractor Safety.
• Compilation of production information for the annual environmental report (COA) to the government as appropriate.
• Collection of production information related to environmental aspects (ISO ) • Control of hazardous waste generation logs.
• Preparation of visual aids for hazardous waste and special handling waste.
• Preparation of environmental policy badges.
• Monthly report on hazardous waste mixtures • Preparation of the monthly report of expired chemical material • Requirement of information from contractors for the contractor safety program.
• Verification of the cleanliness of the grease traps.
• Inspection and detection of unsafe conditions and acts in production areas and departments and support areas.
