Futures Ecology is asmall friendly consultancy started in with offices in Leeds and Bolsover.
We are looking for an Ecologist to be based in our Bolsover office (though the Leeds location may be considered for the right candidate) to help with our increasing workload.
Our work is primarily in the north of England, but we have upcoming projects around the UK.
We are looking for an ecologist with a minimum of two years consultancy experience who is either already project managing small / large schemes or looking to progress into project management.
We are looking for candidates with experience in undertaking Phase 1 / UK Hab surveys with a FISC 3+ level qualification (or working towards this) and / or hold protected species license(s).

Every summer we have a large amount of survey work to undertake, and everyone is expected to help out.
We offer flexible hours, and we also offer paid overtime or TOIL for hours worked on surveys over contracted hours.
We do ask that you have a availability for at least two evenings per week (Monday to Thursday) between April and September.
