Draftsperson AutoCAD Revit construction drawings technical details The Draftsperson is responsible for creating visual guidelines with technical details for construction and/or architectural projects.
This role requires expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software to develop detailed layouts and diagrams based on preliminary sketches, concepts, and data.
The ideal candidate will assist in creating floor plans, ensure compliance with technical handbooks and guidelines, conduct site surveys as needed, and maintain organized records of survey reports.
The Draftsperson will work closely with the Studio Director, Project Manager, or Assistant Project Manager to complete red-lined drawings accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities.
Create drawings for industry-specific projects based on preliminary sketches concepts and data Utilize AutoCAD Revit and other programs to develop layouts and diagrams with attention to specification details Consult technical handbooks and guidelines and assist in landlord research and code compliance Assist in the development of floor plans Assist with the completion of drawings red-lined by Studio Director Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager Maintain complete readily accessible hard copies and electronic files of survey reports Occasionally carry out site surveys as needed Follow instructions from managers accurately with efficiency Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned Requirements.
Associate degree or higher in Architecture Design or related field Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Draftsperson in the retail and restaurants field Ability to interpret construction data engineering calculations and specifications Proficiency in CAD and/or Revit is required Experience drafting construction documents preferred Comfortable in a support role with minimal supervision Ability to multitask and produce accurate work under pressure of tight deadlines Other skills.
